December 10, Tomioka Silk Mill in Gunma Prefecture, has been designated a national treasure. This historic site has been registered as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in June this year.
Tomioka Silk Mill was built by the Meiji government as a model plant in 1872. French silk inspection people Buryuna reblogged guidance construction. Main building is half-timbered brick.
